      We’ll discuss your vision, group size, needs, and logistics. This conversation helps us understand how Compassion Collective can best support your community.

    2. Receive Your Custom Proposal
      You’ll receive a detailed proposal outlining the experience design, facilitation approach, timeline, and pricing—fully tailored to your group.

    3. Finalize Details & Logistics
      Once you approve the proposal, we’ll collaborate on final details. You handle the venue, travel, and catering (or we can connect you with trusted Black woman–owned planners, caterers, and travel partners). We handle all content, facilitation, and custom resource creation.

    4. Experience Your Gathering
      Esther facilitates your bespoke experience, holding space for rest, reflection, and meaningful connection. Your group departs with shared memories and tangible tools—affirmations, journals, and practices—to support continued growth.

    5. Continue the Journey
      Your group receives special discounts for future Compassion Collective offerings over the next year, extending the impact of your gathering.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Prices are variable based on the details we agree on but below are some guidelines to help you plan your budget.

    Private Salon/Supper Facilitation

    • Base rate: $5,000 (up to 15 participants)

    • Includes: 3.5-hour facilitation, event design consultation, custom reflection guide for participants

    • $300 per additional guest (max 25)

    Private Retreat Facilitation

    • 2-day retreat: $12,000 (up to 6 participants)

    • Includes: Event design consultation, up to 6 hours/day facilitation, custom reflection guide

    • $4,000 per additional day

    • $1000 per additional guest

    • Groups larger than 10 participants require consultation to ensure appropriate facilitation and intimacy

    Host Travel Expenses

    • Included for locations within 250 miles of Washington, DC

    • Travel beyond this radius is billed at cost

  • Yes. Payment plans are available for private retreats. 50% deposit due upon contract signing, remaining balance due 30 days before the event.

    Events planned more than 3 months in advance may be eligible for extended payment plans with a 20% deposit at contract signing and remaining payment terms are negotiable.

  • No, logistics are handled by the host group. However, we're happy to connect you with our trusted Black woman-owned event planning, catering, and travel partners who can handle all details for you.

  • We facilitate Custom Gatherings anywhere in the continental US and internationally. Travel within 250 miles of Washington, DC is included in base pricing. Destinations beyond that radius will be billed for Esther’s travel at cost. Specific details provided prior to confirming the agreement.

  • We recommend booking 3-4 months in advance for Salons and Suppers and 6-9 months in advance for retreats. This will help to ensure your preferred date(s) are available and allow adequate time for custom design and your group's planning.

    That said, please reach out with your request anytime. We will do our best to make it work.

    Last-minute requests (submitted within 30 days of the event) , pending availability, will incur an expedited planning fee.

  • Absolutely. While we often suggest some of our core frameworks as a starting point (self-compassion, devotion over discipline, aligned ambition, etc.), every gathering is meant to be uniquely designed for you. Part of our consultation call and early planning will be to ensure the event is tailored to your group's specific needs and desires.
