Intro to Self-Compassion
A short welcome from Esther, your guide for this 5-day journey. In this brief introduction, you'll get a sense of what to expect, why self-compassion offers something deeper than self-care alone, and what it means to build a practice that actually holds you through the seasons of being a high-achieving woman of color in a world that rarely provides space for your rest. No experience required, just a willingness to come home to yourself.

Lesson 1: Why Self-Care Is Not Enough (And What Actually Sustains You)
In this lesson, we explore why the self-care you've been sold is not enough to sustain the woman you actually are, and what self-compassion offers instead. Perfect for the woman of color who has tried everything and is ready to try something deeper.

Lesson 2: Self-Kindness Is The Birthright You Were Taught To Earn
This lesson invites you to interrupt that pattern. You'll learn what self-kindness actually looks like in real life, not as indulgence or performance, but as the daily practice of believing you deserve gentleness. For the woman who has been kind to everyone except herself.

Lesson 3: Slowing Down Enough To Hear Your Own Voice Again
This lesson is about the practice of mindful awareness, which is really just the practice of slowing down enough to tune in. For the woman who has been carrying everyone else's weight and forgot what her own felt like.

Lesson 4: You Were Never Meant To Carry This Alone
This lesson is about the third pillar of self-compassion: connection and community. The reminder that you are not alone, that the shame that whispers "no one would understand" is lying to you. For the woman who has felt alone in her struggles for too long.

Lesson 5: Trusting Yourself To Carry This Forward
In this final lesson, we close out our time together with a conversation about integration. About trusting yourself to carry this practice into the rest of your life. For the woman who is ready to come back to herself, again and again.

What To Expect
You already know self-care isn't enough.
You've taken the bubble baths. You've booked the spa day. You've poured the wine, lit the candle, and added the Saturday morning ritual to a calendar that was already too full. And still, here you are. Tired. Stretched thin. The woman everyone calls when they need something to get done. The one holding it together while quietly wondering who is holding you.
This course is for the woman of color who has been holding everything and everyone, often without anyone asking how she is doing. The one who knows there has to be something deeper than what self-care alone can offer. Something more sustaining than another product, another planner, another promise that the next reset will be the one that finally takes.
Self-compassion is that something deeper.
It's the practice that allows you to stop pushing through the chronic resilience you've been carrying since you were old enough to understand what was expected of you. It's the gentle, foundational shift from doing self-care to being self-compassionate. From earning your rest to believing you already deserve it.
Over five days, I'll guide you through a practice rooted in three pillars: self-kindness, mindful awareness, and the connection and community that reminds you that you have never been as alone as you've been made to feel. Each day is a short audio lesson, a guided practice woven through, and a reflection question to take with you.
This is not another wellness checklist. This is an invitation. To exhale. To soften. To tend to yourself with something that truly sustains you.
